No just brown. That is why I cringe at some of these threads about buying these expensive "potable water hoses" that last so much longer that the cheap Walmart brand.
Not much you can do about the water quality at the source cuasing the buildup inside the hose, but the "potable water hoses" are so named because they are supposed to be manufactured without harmful PVCs and other toxic plastics or rubbers that can leach into the water and ultimately into your body.
