light strip attached to Motor home below awning?

Just as food for thought as to an alternative, I put a couple of LED licence plate lights just underneath the coach along the right side.

They are very weather proof, invisible and light up the ground, not us. They reflect enough light up if we’re on a concrete pad to nicely illuminate the patio area but we don’t feel like we’re in a fish bowl. More than a few neighbours have commented on how unobtrusive they are too.
