Location Of Purge Valve

I have a 2005 Class C with E350 5.4 liter Ford engine.
Check engine light came on . I have my own tester and it shows a PO455 code . Gas cap is new so it probably isn't that so googling says most likely is the purge valve seeing as that code means a leak in the Evap emissions system.
Does anyone here know where to find that valve ? I do not see it from the front under the hood. Does the cover on the inside have to be removed to access it ?

    Why is gas cap new? I would guess the wrong cap.
    Did it start right after new cap?

    First the defective gas cap light came on a few months ago to the left of the check engine light. I replaced the cap and that light never came on again but the check engine light came on just recently wit the PO455 code .
