Looking at this 99 Safari Trek deisel
Anyone familiar with these? Is this engine in the front? I've only had gassers so I'm pretty much in the dark about the pros and cons of deisels lIke this. I'd imagine it's no quieter than a gas motor...

I'd do some real research on the engine in it. I believe, and I could be wrong, that has a GM 6.5 diesel in it.
I'd check reviews for power, longevity, as well as parts availability.
