Looking at this 99 Safari Trek deisel
Anyone familiar with these? Is this engine in the front? I've only had gassers so I'm pretty much in the dark about the pros and cons of deisels lIke this. I'd imagine it's no quieter than a gas motor...

Yes, on the 1999 P30, you had the choice of the VORTEC 454 or the GM 6.5 diesel.
