Hanko: Are you saying that men don't wash dishes?

If you are, I have news for you. I think a man would be more likely to have this issue than a woman would.
Hanko gives these kinds of answers at times. If he's not interested, why bother? - 10forty2ExplorerIf your sink drain is working properly, I wouldn't think the suds would backup into the other sink. Just my simple thinking, but make sure that the vent pipe is clear. I've never had the problem of water or suds or anything else backing up into the other sink.

It boils down to TOO MUCH DETERGENT. and when you do make that mistake, a bit of vinegar oured down the drin will make the bubbles disapate.
Plus, I think this whole doggone thing is just someone trying to see all the dumb ideas people can come up with. - donkeydewExplorerwhen done run cold water down the drain

We have a Class A 28' motorhome with a double sink. When we use the right sink to wash dishes the left sink clogs a bit due to lots of soap bubbles that are coming up. Nothing is clogged! We have to wait till the bubbles go down to continue washing. Any soap out there that does not create many bubbles?

X-3, I use Dawn also but, would like to known if using hard or soft water makes a difference in soap suds?
Have used Dawn for 6 yrs and have never had bubbles come up the drain on the opposite side. - doxiemom11Explorer IIHave used Dawn for 6 yrs and have never had bubbles come up the drain on the opposite side.
- ro_sieExplorerMaybe this will help a little, when you have too many bubbles, pour a little bit of vinegar down the drain. also, I would say, cut back on the amount of soap. Its like I tell my kids, it only takes a drop.
- 2gypsies1Explorer IIII would think dish'WASHER' detergent would be hard on your hands.
Try using a lot less of your dishwashING soap. - craig7hNomad III have been using Dawn for years with no problem like your are talking about.
