I personally was leaning in the direction of a used unit right from the start, but looked at both. I also wanted a DP but looked at DPs and gassers. Then DW and I met a salesman who had some prudent advice. His advice was not to buy a MH for the grandkids, or the times we travel with our kids and grandkids, but buy the unit based on our needs most of the time. The other part of the equation is that we were not going to be full timers. If I was going full time, I would have wanted a 40' DP. Ended up with a 35' Monaco Monarch (2008) that has everything we need.
