Saving $30K buying used over new will get you a lot of warranty along with fuel and camp ground funds to use. Even without the extra warranty, $30K in savings would replace the entire chassis if necessary on a gas coach.
My coach was a bank repo sold at auction to the dealer so just consider the potential risk I faced but I used that to help get the price down. My pre-price negotiation inspection took hours and I got a really good price that has helped keep my value to debt on the plus side. Had some minor issues over the past four years but nothing that forced us home early from an outing or put the coach in a shop for repair. I could probably fix anything on or under the coach myself if necessary so my risk tolerance with respect for potential failures is pretty high. Next coach will be used also. Price point is hard to beat.
