Looking for companion to drive my motorhome

I just bought a motorhome class c. I am a senior who likes to travel and explore the states. I have a dog, a Rottie and I am a senior. I need someone who likes to take trips and be able to drive my motorhome for me, walk the dog at rest stops, and who wants to travel and see the states too but doesn't have the vehicle to do it. You are helping me as long as yourself. I do not pay you to do this, you are seeing the world too and your expenses are paid while doing it. If this is for you contact me. This is strictly for companion not personal in any way, except that we get along fine on any trips. This is going to happen in the spring not in the winter time as I live in Colorado. So if this is something you would like to do contact me. thanks marjorie hall
  • Marjorie please keep in mind some RV Parks and Campgrounds do not allow rottweilers due to the park's liability insurance carrier restrictions. Be sure to call ahead and ask about breed and size restrictions for dogs at any RV park you may plan to stop at.

I traveled for over 20 years with 2 Rotts and was never turned away.
    Guess we were lucky
  • I don't drive others RV's but I do travel with others so they have an extra person to help in case of emergencies. I teach photography courses and some of my students that want to go on location classes / shoots are not there for the teaching but the companionship / security. It is not a bad idea!!! Visiting a new place can be scary for older people or single people (yes mainly ladies) so I don't mind if they want to tag along. Sad to say but in this world you do have to think ahead!
  • Just a suggestion, have several evenings with whoever you find (and I think that you are doing a great thing!!!!!). Go on a few small trips before a large one. You'll want to REALLY know the person well before you are stuck in a small space with them for possibly weeks on end.

I know this MAY not matter either, but it may help to post what type of coach you have for the travels. Somebody may want to know what type of bed they'll be on (or a convert-a-table).

I hope you find somebody soon!
