looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows

I was in my motorhome this morning and put the slides out. I remembered your question about the carpet and the slideout. Are you are talking about the slide out leaving a smashed like line down your carpet where it sits when it is in? If so I don't know if it is right or not,All I know is that every motorhome I owned with a slideout did this. It leaves a slight indentation on the carpet about one inch wide and go the lenth of the slideout. After the slideout is out for a few hours it goes away. I never have wear marks on the carpet.
As far as the slide out closing tight on the outside, my slide out is real close to the side at the top and maybe 1/2 away at the bottom. But the slideout makes good contact with the rubber gasket all around to keep water out.
