Here's a mod I've done on my Pace 37C. One thing I discovered is that we have less cabinet space than we used to have in our Southwind. You know the curio cabinet that sits over the pull-out table? I took a panel from one of the over the sink doors, took it to a glass shop and bought a larger version to fit the doors in the curio cabinet. I couldn't find the frosted glass version so I bought a spray in the can frosting that matches perfectly. Now we have extra pantry space for soft goods (cereal, cocoa, chips etc.) and it is not visible to anyone walking into the coach and the light inside is still useful and all the glass matches.
Also, I've been researching Rock Gaurds and such and I decided on the RV Underskirt from Blue Ox. This was my choice and is not meant to belittle YOUR decision. I was impressed enough after reading that one of our forum members took his on a trip to Alaska and it performed wonderfully. The problem I'm faced with is that when I went to install it, the Pace only has a slight curl of fiberglass and there does not appear to be enough to mount the eye bolts to. My thought is to have an angle iron welded to the hitch box at the rear and have it extend across the rear of the coach low enought to attach the eye bolts.... any other ideas?? Great topic y'all!!
