- rolnhomeExplorerPaul have repaired. Should be an easy job any body shop. Just need to rebuild/reinforce with some fiberglass .... simple job.
- JimGoExplorerBuy a replacement from a wrecker? Sounds like a lot of work :)
- Paul_TurpinExplorerI might have to go on a diet. I stepped on the corner of my dog house and cracked the corner of the fiberglass. Now you can not even step on it. Has anyone seen or made a cover that fit over the doghouse??? I could make one out of wood but I want it to look nice.

Take the 6 (?) screws out of the front of the cabinet the washer dryer sits in. This will remove the entire front including doors and allows easier access.
THanks for this tip. It saved me from a lot of knuckle busting. - seatecExplorerThanks Lobstah. I also found that one and sae it hard great reviews. I'll hold off pulling the trigger until PaceArrow has give me his model and then ill do a comparison.
- LobstahExplorerI bought this replacement from Amazon:
Progressive Dynamics PD9270V Inteli-Power 9200 Series 70 Amp Converter/Charger with Built-in Charge Wizard
$180. There were cheaper ones, but this got the best reviews, and it's worked flawlessly since installation. It fit in the same space my old one came out of, which was a plus.
Jim - PaceArowExplorerSounds identical to the problem I had about 2 months ago. When I get home this evening I will get you the info on the replacement.
- seatecExplorerPace arrow, THe funny thing is that if i have the converter plugged in but not connected ot the leads to go to the battery/Panel it seems like it has 13.4 V but as soon as i connect the charging leads the voltage drops to 4.5 or something
Which converter did you get as a recplacement. - PaceArowExplorerI had the exact scenario, no fan, very little output, but is did jump around a little. Had to replace the unit. When I called to buy the new one the guy sold me a different brand. He said the one the that was in the RV had the highest failure rate in the industry. If it is plugged into a working outlet and is not generating the 13.6 (or whatever the number is supposed to be) the unit is bad. I purchased mine on ebay for about $125.00 and all systems are working.
- LobstahExplorerThen it sounds like you need a new converter. I was just trying to eliminate as many other things as possible. Go from the converter straight to the batteries, that eliminates the battery control center, AND tests the converter under load.
If you buy a converter from Amazon, they have an excellent return policy, if it turns out to be something else.
