- seatecExplorerIs the converter suppose to charge the Main battery as well? Mine keeps draining. Have another funny thing happen. When i start the coach up the windshield whipers start working and can't turn them off. I swear this coach is haunted.

The glass cabinet doors are one of the few things in my 2004 36B that doesn't rattle! :) - seatecExplorer

For the 3yrs we've owned our 36D, one of the things that has bugged me is the glass cabinet doors and the way they rattle when going down the road. No matter how tightly I pushed those silly rubber retaining strips into the slots, they still loosened up and the glass would rattler.
Finally had some time on the last trip to pull all the doors off, remove the strips, and apply a healthy bead of silicone caulk all the way around the glass. The trip home, over rough Mass highways and bridge joints was MUCH more quiet.
Easy project, huge payoff.

Thanks for the Tip - LobstahExplorerOn a different note...

Jim - LobstahExplorer@Seatec...I would unplug the converter and/or hit the battery disconnects...

i used to rap the monitor but after a while that didnt do it anymore.
Mine did/does that, I bought a new monitor and it still does it. I asked them to run a new ground...which I come to find out they didn't. Thats the next thing I am going to try.
I'm thinking about going with a wireless system when i get around to it. - seatecExplorer

Thanks for the extra re-asurrance about the difference between Parallel and Serial.
One other question. Should i turn off the converter or unhook the bad bateries until i get new ones. Don;t want to have another converter go bad. - bricotExplorer

Lots of posts here about this. If you're not sure, with 2 6V, the negative coach lead goes to one negative post. The positive post on that battery goes to the negative post on the next battery, and the positive coach lead goes to the positive post of that battery.
For 2 12V, the positives get hooked together, and the negatives get hooked together.
Jim - seatecExplorerJim, THanks for th info. I dont rarely if ever dry camp. I usually on go to parks with hookup. Serioulsy considering getting 2 12v batteries and be done with it. I got the same CONVERTER you have that shouldnt be a problem.
