- bricotExplorerHey Paul,
Nice heads up, I think I will order one. Does it screw inline with your water hoses?
Brian - Paul_TurpinExplorerI remembered reading some posts here about low water pressure/flow in their PA. I got a Watts 263A water pressure regulator with gauge from www.rvwaterfilterstore.com for $55. I am on the road in San Diego and installed it (it comes ready to mount with hose connectors).
There was not a "WOW Factor" with the water flow but it did help a lot. I can use two inside faucets at the same time with good water flow with both. The kitchen faucet if turned on all the way will splash up and out on the counter top. Shower is much better. I set it at 50 lbs and per info will deliever 4 - 5 GPM.
The big test will be in a few days when I go to a RV Park with well water and low water pressure. - Fyr_guyExplorerPat, it get's pretty cold here in the high desert (teens) although not for long periods. Check in the tech forums for cold issues with LCD's and I'll let you know if I find something. I'll be using a tripod mount with a triple LNB that was taken off my home when they went to the new 5 lnb dish in order to receive my premium channels. I don't have all the answers but I can send you the schematic my son sent me some of which is specific to my set up but the Excel file walks you through the witing diagram but I'll caution you that it still needs fine tuning. I set up an A-B switch to go from the Kingdome (A) and then to the tripod (B) the tripod works great with birds 110, 119 and 101 but am still playing with getting the dome hooked up right.
Sandy - FreshAirExplorerFyr Guy, That LCD TV is Beautiful, perfect fit. The DW also looked at your pictures and said let's do it. So I guess we'll do it. :)
I have HD at home on a DLP screen and it's awesome but I didn't really think I'd need one in the MH?? I don't know what's happening with this HD stuff as it's been slow to get rollin?
Also, my MH can really get cold here in Utah. Is the LCD OK with very cold temps? Sales folks are absolutely zero help.
Pat - Fyr_guyExplorerPat, just sent the link to the pics. In about another year all signals will be in digital format and HD is just more frosting on the cake. I agree about the boat abchor, the new screen is only 38 lbs. I'd anticipate the new format and take the plunge, best of luck!

LCD HD TV UPGRADE
Well I finally did it! With HD at home we've gotten spoiled and decided to upgrade to a wide screen HiDef TV and after alot of measuring, pricing and considering my mounting options, decided on the LG 32LC2D. With minor modifications to the existing box it fits right in. I also upgraded the all-in-one DVD AVR with an inexpensive Onkyo TX-SR304 I used a Toshiba DVD player from home and my Directv HR10-250. Anyone interested in Pics e-mail me and I'll send them. BTW, The picture is FABULOUS!
Fyr guy, I also have been looking at the LCD TY. I have been looking for a 32" but don't need the HD. I'd like to get rid of the Boat Anchor over my head. As we basically have the same MH. All your research and hard work will be a plus for me. Ill get in touch.
Thanks,

You'll have to find a friend that is good at connecting A/V stuff like I did (son-in-law) sent me schematics although I still have to do some troubleshooting, rear TV, VCR but all the front end stuff is working for my trip to Vegas this Wednesday. When I get back I'll have my son-in-law do the troubleshooting. - Meme_RayExplorer

Add a Map instructions to your signature.
To those of you who have the maps indicating which states that you have camped in:
Where did you download these maps? I can't bring myself to put one on our PA since I can't justify that it is a fun thing for the kids to do while on vacation. I'm sure I had as much fun adding each new state as the kids did .... but our kids are in their 20s now. Where can I get one of these maps to add to my profile or signature?

I bought one of the maps at Camping World that you can put on your motorhome, but I'm like you I couldn't bring myself to put one on my PA. So I stole my idea from another RV owner...as we pulled into a campground spot this guy as he was setting up. He had purchased a piece of Plexiglas and mounted the map on it and then put suction cups on each corner so that he could put it anywhere on his RV and remove it for travel. He fixed the suction cups so that he could put his map on the outside, but I fixed my suction cups so that I can put my map on the window inside next to the entry door. So it's your choice...inside or outside.
Thanks for the help with the map for the forum. I love the Plexiglas idea and will definitely try that in 2007.

SO running the Front heater at 55 will prevent any lines from freezing up anywhere in the coach? Doesa this also take care of your water heater and such? That would be great because i really dont want to winterize so we can keep using the coach year round. Wonder how much propane i would use for a Mid Atlantinc winter?
On my '04 36B the rear furnance is the only furnance that heats the basement. Since on the 36B the front furnance is mounted in the slide there are only two ducts that exhaust into the front of the rv. The rear has ducts for the bathroom, bedroom and into the basement area, where the water tanks, hoses, and the water closet is. It appears that no heat will get to the water heater, so I think one would need to keep the water heater on also. - Fyr_guyExplorer

Thanx again for all the helpfull hints. i for instance wouldve never thought about winterizing the washer dryer.
Just out of curiosity. i live in Maryland so it can get under 30 and soemtimes 20 deg. would it be very costly to just keep the heat running and if so what would anyone reccomend to keep the thermostat at? i am pretty sure the coach has heated underside eg holding tanks or is this just a stupid idea to begin with? I would like to keep using the MoHo throught the winter.

Here in the Southwestern desert it gets into the teens occasionally and below freezing many times during our winter and I've been turning on the coach heater in the front only and set at it's lowest setting 55 degrees I think. We use our MH all year long so we need to have it ready to go when we are. It's worked for us for 2 years now and the cost of propane was worth the availability of the MH.
Fry,

THanx for your inof Fry
It has worked for me with no problems with water heater, bypass lines etc. for the past 2 years and have olnly had to fill up on propane once during winter although daytime temps rise well during the day and don't stay into freezing temps.
