- R2DillonExplorerWhere did you get the fan? I have had to replace one already, but it is too loud.
- runagroundExplorerThanks for the responses. Solved the problem.
The 15 amp fuse in the engine compartment marked dash fans does nothing, Nada, Zip, there is no power to it. I pulled the fuse with the fans running no affect, checked with meter no power to fuse.
What I did find is the dash fan fuse is in the bathroom under the sink 15amp General Purpose S/O fuse (Good Man R2Dillion).
Fuses under the dash seem to be as marked (in WH owners manual).
Problem was a fan, bad internal wiring. Replaced the fan replaced the fuse.
It's all good :B.
Off to Quartzsite to look at stuff, then headed South to Cancun.
Thank you all, what a great group
Larry - tom3249Explorerwe own a 2004 Pace Arrow. We have approx 12,000 miles on it and we bought it new. We are happy with it and have had very little trouble. The biggest being the auto levelers don't usually work right. I have to manually do the job.
- Meme_RayExplorerHas anyone come up with a deflector or gutter or other type of add on to keep the windshield clean and streak free when the RV is just parked? Seems like there should be something that could be installed to keep water from the roof putting those white streaks on the windshield.

Both dash fans just quit. Checked fuse under dash. Tested switches. Fans good. Wire from dash switch to fans test good. No power to switch any one know of an inline or secondary fuse to the dash fans other than the one in the driverside box in the engine compartment?
We had this problem last year with our fans but we also had a few of the lights go out as well. After trying to solve the problem ourselves unsuccessfully we went back to the dealer. Their service shop found a loose screw that was considered construction debris in the ceiling that was bouncing around now and then and caused us electrical shorts. The dealer convinced Fleetwood to cover the repair under warranty since it was caused by construction debris. Can't say this was really the cause but the lights and fans have worked ever since. Maybe you are having a similar problem if nothing else is making sense.
Meme - R2DillonExplorerWhen this happened on mine, I found that the fan was wired into a dc fuse with the house fuses. The connection was not documented and I had to examine all the fuses in the house fusebox.
- Paul_TurpinExplorerThe Pace is in storage but the my paperwork shows the circuit going to the under the dash fuse box with a 20 amp fuse.

- Paul_TurpinExplorerGary,
After reading your post on insulating the engine cover I remembered reading about some Workhorse chassis having problems of over heating the plug wires due to lack of air getting around the engine compartment. Something to think about. How much room will the insulation take up and how much will it change the air flow around the engine compartment.
Let us know how it worked out. - seatecExplorerim with you on being dissapointed regarding the Generator Noise level. There are some honda models that are whiper quite. Maybe if enough people compain they will invest in quite technology
