- runagroundExplorerYou guys saved my butt. Near Cancun lost refer,, Lights, Gas Appliances wouldn't light, 97 degrees inside MH no AC, House batteries dead. Inverter went out.
On the list I had read inverters we starting to be a problem, so I picked up a spare in Mission Texas before crossing the border. Good thing. After installing it things are back to normal.
Thank You Muy Mucho for the heads up.

email Fleetwood from this link: MH Info Link at Fleetwood. There's some options for electrical and plumbing schematics for your MH. I had several back by email in 90 minutes. I asked for some supplemental schematics and they snail mailed me paper copies that I scanned. Fleetwood was very helpful.
Hey gang, .....
3. Where can I get schematics of the coach and chassis?

Boy do I need a set of schematics.... - EMC_GuyExplorerHey gang,
First I want to say thanks to all the members of this forum.
Without your posts, I would not have been aware of the many issues with the 37C MH. Other than the short awning, all of your posted trouble spots were inspected thoughroughly during my inspection.
IT took me a few days to read all 92 pages of this thread, but I finally got through it the night before pickup :D
My wife and I just purchased our first RV. We picked up a 2004 PA 37C with 15K miles from a dealer in Tampa.
We love the coach and so far no major problems.
Managed 8.3 mpg on our first trip over to Cape Canaveral this past weekend. Not bad for a nig coach like this.
I do have a few questions I'm hoping someone can answer:
1. I've killed the MAIN battery twice by accidentally leaving the key in the ACC position. I measured the current draw at 6A with the key in ACC pos. What circuits are active with key in ACC?
2. Where is the charging LED for the solar panel? I cant seem to find mine.
3. Where can I get schematics of the coach and chassis?
4. All 3 Water pump swithes are OFF but I still have water pressure. Why? The only way to eliminate water pressure is to disengage AUX batteries.
Boy do I need a set of schematics....
Thanks,
Ed

www.dscc.us - Fyr_guyExplorerGary, somewhere in the reduction gear a tooth or part snapped off and down came the jack. Luckily the jack only weighs about 8-10 pounds and a sturdy hard rubber bungee (or several as I did) will hold it up until it can be repaired. As mentioned, the part, labor etc. will not be cheap. Also remember that their is ONE hole in the base to secure a sturdy wire as the failsafe.
Sandy - ParrotguyExplorerSandy, What failed on the jack? Its just a small electric motor and a reduction gear, no?
Thanks for the heads up. Good advise. I have always worried that a jack would fail and I would be unable to drive. - Fyr_guyExplorerHi all, well a little news for y'all (<-- notice southern accent) I'm in Albany, GA for the night after having to spend an extra day in Brunswick, GA (more on Brunswick in a minute) due to an internal failure of the left front Atwood Leveleg. While in Savannah on Tybee Island, I lowered my jacks and the leg just slid all the way down. The bride told me it had just slid down to the ground while lowering all the jacks. I went outside and was able to lift the leg up and down with no tension whatsoever. Luckily it was on a Monday and was able to find a Fleetwood dealer thank's to the Fleetwood Service number. I contacted Jeff Shaw of Newcastle RV in Brunswick, GA and he told me he would have the necessary part overnighted by Fleetwood to arrive Wednesday and he would have it installed first thing Thursday. It was installed and they had us back on the road within 2 hours. Thank you Jeff! And I'm glad I bought the extended Warranty as it would have been over $800 out of pocket. $400 for the part, 2 hours installation and $250 out of my pocket to have it shipped overnight. By the way, carry some strong bungees and some heavy gauge wire to strap the leg up as I had to do beause if your in my situation you'll have to get it to the repair facility. I had to drive 80 miles from Savannah to Brunswick with bungees, wire and duct tape holding the leg in place. Can you imagine if it had fallen in route?
Heading west,
Sandy
"Fyr guy" - tuff_lyfExplorerAnyone going to FMCA Rally in Perry March 18?? Would be great to meet up and compare MH.
- saltfishExplorerJust got back from the SEA FMCA rally. Saw a couple of free standing dinette settups with counter and cabinets that looked interesting. My wood is washed maple so having a little trouble finding matching wood. Tried a Radio Shack inverter while dry camping there but it wouldn't handle the power needs of a 27" tv. Guess I'll have to get on hardwired also.

Anyone of us included in Dometic refer recall?
It's for two-door refrigerators manufactured between April 1997 and May 2003. Checkout the Dometic recall website. Yours shouldn't be included. - Bird_FreakExplorer IIAnyone of us included in Dometic refer recall?
