- dkingdoeExplorerUPDATE...We ended up taking it in to the dealer and I'm glad we did 'when' we did because the MOTOR was bad and we just did make the two-year warranty :E deadline.
Something else that we had to have replaced was the wind sensor (still under warranty) because it continuously beeped in the enabled (ON) position (we were still able to use the awning).
Thanks to all of you for your suggestions.dkingdoe wrote:
HELP :? NEED SOME SUGGESTIONS:
Our Kwikee steps won't extend. We've located the fuses for the step motor, and step switch. Checked to see if they were bad -"NO" - but replaced with news fuses anyway - still no change. :h
Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated
... before we have to take it in to the dealer. :( - bricotExplorerMake sure you get the correct antenna as well! The prior owner installed a CB and it didn't work well, range wasn't good, came to find out he used a grounded antenna (one design to me mounted to a METAL vehicle), I replaced with a non-grounded type and it works much better.

Paul Turpin... Maybe you or someone with the same make and model as me can tell me... Are there any cb hookups that come standard under the dash... Thanks
Not on the P/A I have. I didn't want to drill a hole in my rig so I got an antenna that sticks on the window and I ran the wire to under the dash. Again with the dual pane glass, I had to put the antenna on the little window on top of the driver door because the window antenna will not work thru dual pane windows. I don't use the CB very much only when there is a traffic backup to find out what lane to be in. I have found the window antenna does not have a long range. - Fyr_guyExplorerHELP! Over the weekend my buddy went to his storage yard to get his '05 PA to come to CA and found the coach had no house power. The steps didn't even come down. He bought 2 new house batteries and still no house power. He had stored it with the house kill switch activated but now he can't even hear the switch noise it makes when turning it on/off, any suggestions??
Sandy - runagroundExplorerIs the rocker switch by the door in the proper position. Steps will not extend if turned off.
- R2DillonExplorerAlso, check to see if the magnetic switch that tells the step to retract is not working.

Right from day one the automatic leveling system has lost stability, overnight at first, now right away because one of the jacks almost immediately lifts off the ground. It goes into the shop next week and I hope they can fix it this time. Has anyone else had problems with the leveling system? I recently met someone with a 2005 model; it has a different brand of leveling system, not PowerGear. Is this an indication that Fleetwood recognized a problem?
When showering, lots of water flows from the backflow prevention valve on the shower faucet hose, regardless of where the shower head is positioned relative to the backflow prevention valve. The dealer has ordered a new hose and faucet, but I’m skeptical that will solve the problem. Anyone else had this problem? .......
Jim,
The Pace Arrow shares many of the same parts with the Providence. I too had the shower backflow valve problem. The dealer replaced the hose/shower head assembly under warranty. Haven't had a problem with that since.
Regarding the Powergear leveling system. Your's is a bit different than mine, but had mine replaced under warranty 3 times, finally had them install a brand new 2004 Powergear system that I heard was flawless. No problems since. It's been almost 2 years.
My Biggest recurring pain in the rear was actually located on the roof. The KVH satellite dish gave me problems until about 6 months ago. It apparently took KVH 2 years to fix programming bugs. Works fine now.
Scott - R2DillonExplorerI also love the upgrade. The issue is keeping the speed down. Though, as discussed in irv2, dropping from 65 to 60-62 improves gas mileage.
