- Fyr_guyExplorerSpeaking of mufflers... I should say exhaust systems, my rubber support strap that holds the exhaust as it exits the body of the coach let loose somewhere between Abilene, TX and El Paso last year and dragged my tailpipe for hundreds of miles before we stopped for fuel and found out why all the 18 wheelers were flashing their lights at us in the early morning. I must have looked like a freaking meteor going down the road. Had to have a new section welded on along with new STEEL support straps so check yours and see how badly they are weathered and replace them now before you have the same experience.
I can laugh at it now because the exhaust tip never completley closed off which would of made the engine run terribly if at all with no exhaust and all that back pressure.
The good thing was Workhorse covered the repair as I was still under WH warrenty. - americandream42ExplorerMy experience has been pretty good. A few minor fixes here and there but there was one bad one this summer. The muffler got a whole in it on the highway driving on Rt 80 through PA milemarker 196. Funny that i remember where it happened next time your at mile maker 196 going west remember i was stuck there hahaa. Yeah so on our trip to SD and WY we broke down were out of comission for 3 1/2 days waiting for a part that we couldnt find. All in all besides breaking down that one time my experience has been very good.
- bricotExplorermine always stalls when starting to bring it in, it right about when it is tilting to bring it in over the floor. I let off the switch and press it again and it comes in fine.

Hi Guys
Anyone having a problem with the slide behind the drivers seat? The motor on mine has always seemed weak and now it stalls trying to retract. I have always kept it lubed well.
Bird Freak, I can't put anything on the couch except pillows in order to have enough power to have it come in. - Bird_FreakExplorer IIHi Guys

Fry guy, don't thing it uses caulk, pull grill off inside should be 4 screws, make sure these are snug. Do not over tighten, these screws do work loose so need to check. If that don't stop leak, may need to change gasket between AC housing and roof.
dcbrewer, never thought of starting to look on the inside first, will try that first.

- rnr42005Explorerwe recently purcahsed a 1986 pace and absolutely love it! it has had 4 PO's and they all kept records and maintainence schedules intact!
we had sooooo much paperwork to go thru it took us hours to get through it and seperated so we knew where/what was done/not done.
the unit only has 44,600 miles on it, most by the original owner. they added a hydraulic leveling system that works very well.
we just redid the plumbing after finding a pinhole leak where the PO had replaced the pump and gouged the hot water line. they had also neglected to reseal the roof, so that has been done.
issues with the genset hunting, parts ordered and just waiting for time to get them replaced.
front clearence lights "leaking" around the lens.....what a nightmare!!!!!!!!! still trying to get them done.
all in all, we love it!!!!!!!
purchased for about 40% of retail, so can't complain too much!!! - Fyr_guyExplorerA new question for anyone.. in a recent rain storm in AZ I discovered a leak coming from the front air conditioner. Can anyone direct me in determining where to look and if it's a caulking issue, the best type to use. Thank's in advance.

Just bought a 2003 Pace Arrow 36B (3 slide). So far (with 750 miles under our belt) we love it. However, the automatic awning (Weather Pro) does not work. Previous owner said it worked fine on his last trip but when he arrived home and went to clean the awning, it would not extend. In fact, it apparently has no power to it at all. Nothing lights up at control box and the enable/disable switch makes no noise when enabling it (prior owner says it normally did make a small noise in the past).
Hoping this is just a blown fuse. However, I cannot find the 15A fuse for the awning. Does anyone know where a fuse might be besides the one in the control box (which looks OK)? Is there some other possible solution someone might know of?
Thanks
Did you ever find your fuse? or Why your awning is not working?
I looked through some of our papers to find out where it is but no luck.
We have the 36B model also and LOVE it. Haven't been able to get out in it due to weather, but Spring is just around the corner, and we'll be out in it...LOTS!!
