Just bought a 2003 Pace Arrow 36B (3 slide). So far (with 750 miles under our belt) we love it. However, the automatic awning (Weather Pro) does not work. Previous owner said it worked fine on his last trip but when he arrived home and went to clean the awning, it would not extend. In fact, it apparently has no power to it at all. Nothing lights up at control box and the enable/disable switch makes no noise when enabling it (prior owner says it normally did make a small noise in the past).
Hoping this is just a blown fuse. However, I cannot find the 15A fuse for the awning. Does anyone know where a fuse might be besides the one in the control box (which looks OK)? Is there some other possible solution someone might know of?
Thanks
I am going to do some work on my P/A tomorrow and I will check for the fuse. There should be a fuse in the main fuse box that has the 110 circuit breakers and 12V fuses. My main fuse box is under the bathroom sink. If no one has an answer for you by tomorrow night I will post what I found.
I didn't forget you, but I could not find the fuse. I pulled several but none was for the awning. I will look some more after the rain leaves. If you find it let us know.

Another item I just thought of as we are getting ready to go on the road. Has anyone had a problem with the trip computer display on the instrument cluster? Mine has slowly disappeared and now only shows a random display of vertical lines.
I had a similar problem on my "brand new to me" 03 PA. Thought the cluster display was defective until I was playing with the display options and found the "contrast" option. Adjusted the contrast and the display cleared right up. Hope it works for you.

Actia was replacing the instrument cluster through Workhorse with owners that had that specific problem, you might try calling a Workhorse service center and see what they say first.

My propane detector was going off anytime I was on the road and not running the generator. I also had it going off when I was running propane heat. After I checked the house batteries and topped them off (I was bad), the problem went away. I think that the 12 volt feed affects the sensitivity of the detector.

Just got an 03 PA 36B and have managed to set off the detector several times. Seems when the coach battery voltage drops below somewhere around 8 or 9 volts (I am a slow learner with the electrical system of my coach) the detector decides to turn itself on. I silence the alarm, then start up the generator (or if it won't start due to low voltage I use shore power) and charge the batteries. Once charged the detector is happy and keeps quiet. - Naval_AviatorExplorerJust bought a 2003 Pace Arrow 36B (3 slide). So far (with 750 miles under our belt) we love it. Thanks - Rich___Cheri_ExplorerSpoke too soon on the ECC fix using contact cleaner. Worked fine for a couple of days, but now back to problems and noise in bathroom.

What are the dates and where is the LA Posa LTA?
Paul
Paul, the show starts on Jan. 17-27th here are the facts http://www.quartzsitervshow.com/rvshow.htm
The BLM has a few dry camping areas called Long Term Visitor Areas and one of these areas is called La Posa LTV North, right next to Rice Ranch.
As you go over the bridge next to the show tent get on Hwy 95 to Yuma, the area we go to is the one on the left side. Email me and I'll give you my cell # if you guys decide to join us, would love to have you join us.
BTW... Camping is $30 for 14 days, we'll be there about 6 days arriving the Wednesday before. Water and dump stations are provided in your fee. I found this interesting link with photos and more info. Click HERE

Interesting. We have had this problem on and off. The dealer even replaced the propane detector once, but it still happens occasionally. Our bigger problem has been keeping the propane fridge running while on the road and now that we think we have that solved we will now know what to do when the detector starts going off. Thanks for the information.
