UPDATE. Today I returned to the dealership to go over the 2012 Itasca 37F with a fine tooth comb. Took it for a long test drive and could not believe how much better it handled than my WH W-22. Very comfortable ride for a gasser using the Ford 24,000 chassis. I was quite pleased with the unit, so I go back to the office with the expectations of bad news regarding the preliminary numbers I received yesterday.
A contract was drawn up and showed my trade as $35,000 and the selling price of the unit I wished to buy as $99,999. Low and behold, these were the same numbers I was verbally given yesterday. After reviewing the contract, I signed before somebody changed their mind. I thought this was a pretty good deal, especially since my coach was never even seen. I feel like I was a winner and will take delivery next Friday!
