Dakzuki has a 24J Navion. In one of his posts to me we were comparing cargo capacity. His had 1475 lbs.
Hope that helps!
That's me. My 2011 has 1475 OCCC. Different versions will vary of course and options will also change it.
From about 2009 on there will be a sticker in the door frame indicating the OCCC (cargo capacity) number (federal law). Dry weight varies with model.
The View/Vavion have got bigger (again) in 2-15 but this time not with the addition of gross vehicle weight. They have lost a bit of OCCC (like about 200 lbs on the J).
If you are coming from a truck camper you should have no problems with storage in a View/Navion.
I pull a 3000 lb toad with a RViBrake system....also a utility triler with no brakes (1500 lbs or so). The newer V/Ns have 5000 lb towing capacity but when you have the RV at max gross weight you will be down to 4000 due to the combined weight rating.
They are not wired for brake controllers.
