" He says "I want to Travel" and "where I could find a job like this" Don't know where you went to school, but at my high school, "I" means yourself, not your wife, kid or dog, but you. Only after his very poor writing skills were pointed out, did the wife become the writer.
This thread was about getting a paying job in journalism. I am not sure it is out of line to point out why someone may have a very hard time getting the employment they are seeking if it appears they are not going to be qualified. Eating every day does not automatically qualify you to be a food critic, and traveling from place to place does not make you a travel writer. Poor spelling, poor sentence structure, improper usage of words and all the other errors in his posts seem to indicate that writing for money isn't going to be in his future. Maybe his wife does have a special talent that will be marketable, but she is going to need a different talent agent if his responses are any indication of what will happen down the road.
