looking to buy entry level Motorhome

The Thor ACE or Fleetwood Storm, both are 28 foot in size and seem very nice.
We want something short to travel in ,and prefer a class A.
Hoping for some help and useful information .
We have always camped in Fifth Wheel Trailers .

If you're talking new, why not drop back a couple of years and get a top of the line product. Not only will you not be value underwater from day one, but you will not have to make so many trips to the dealer for getting the bugs out.
  • Thanks for your quick responses We are about to take another look at the Storm 28f again.
It comes with full body paint and I feel partial towards that .
  • This is kind of a hard question to answer. I have had two Fleetwoods and are partial to them. I am not a Thor fan, but many are. Do a search on this forum and Irv2.com for both. You will read many opinions and experiences. I had very good luck with a 2012 Tioga Ranger, but my friend bought the same year 28' Storm and had some problems with the factory quality control.
After four motor homes, I am convinced the money saved by buying used is well worth it. If you can find a better quality, higher end unit a couple of years old, I think that would be a better choice. And make sure the length will do it for you. Good luck with your search!
