Looks like we are owners... panic attack

Likewise; we bought a MH three weeks ago. Two days later we had to leave in Arizona until January when we will move to Arizona. It took a little bit to realize that we actually did something that we had been talking about for the past 5 years.

La Mesa should be well aware of those problems and they are easy to check. I know Tiffin is allowing some dealers to repair those problems instead of the owner taking it to Red Bay. Your salesperson should be able to get this taken care of without problem. Tiffin will pay them to do the work so it doesn't cost La Mesa anything. Stick to your guns and give Bob Tiffin a call if need be. He is probably the only owner in the business that will talk to you without you jumping through a million hurdles.

The service tech isn't really happy with me. I told him the two recalls which Tiffin allows dealers to do need to be done before we take posession of the coach or we back out of the deal. The final/final paperwork has changed requiring us to sign again. We did put a deposit but that's all so far. He did say he wasn't going to do anything else until he called Tiffin about my concerns... probably just in case we backed out.
I told the sales manager flat out I wasn't buying a coach that I needed to drive to Alabama within the next year... Too bad I didn't find out about this stuff before.. but that's how it goes.
We still love everything about it... Maybe the price will suddenly get better - we'll see.
For us, this is a very big purchase and we are probably at the edge of my comfort level. Hence my attitude. I did warn them right off that I wasn't going to be easy to deal with.

Having had 2 "bank owned" RVs, I now have an older, cheaper one that I paid cash for - no more sleepless nights for me ;)

We sure would like a brand new one but I can't live with having to pay out the money each month.

most people have buyers remorse for expensive toys. Sort of odd thing if you ask me. Happened when i bought mine, but didn't last long. Was still strange considering i bought one that was well in my price range.. I have no trouble with the monthly cost. Not like I'm struggling in any way shape or form to pay it.


Yet still with the remorse.

But it goes away as soon as you use it heh. Motorhomes are just so freaking sweet.

I had the same panic attack when I bought my coach. It lasted for a while. I would go out and look at it and think "What have I done"? After a few trips, that went away. I have been really enjoying our time in our coach! I decided that you do not know how much time you have and you ought to enjoy yourself wile you can.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one with sleepless nights and my stomach in knots! We ordered our coach 9 weeks ago this week. The first week I couldn't sleep and my stomach was in knots. It got better but now my coach is done and should be at my dealer any day and the sleepless nights and knots are back.. I hope this gets better.... :h
