There are several Sprinter van converters with various configurations as noted above. The Sprinter drivetrain is generally Mercedes Benz and has all the safety features to largely obviate the problems you experienced while driving. The rear electric couch in many units such as mine can be used as a twin bed by using the Ottoman cushions at each end or both sides pushed down and made into a queen/king side bed. Some B vans do NOT have standup showers but are really sitdown types.Others have a toilet in a 'cubby' and a shower in the hall. Your needs are therefore an important consideration.We almost never use RV Park public washroom facilities. As noted, make sure the complete RV is checked out and, if you can get the full service history of the vehicle all the better.Some private sales folk have these and some dealers but some do not either. Mileage on a diesel is not a big factor.The condition of the vehicle is paramount.Price is secondary.A too cheap unit might have a sad history--or worse!Caveat Emptor.
