I have had the same issue. Since I want to be able to use electric heat without worry I tapped into the circuit going to the block heater and put in an outlet that goes through the inverter. There was plenty of room to replace the single gang box for the block heater switch with a double gang (old work) box and put an outlet beside the switch. - prstlkExplorerSo good to help each other!
