I grew up there in So. Indiana
last trip was 2012, so i can't comment on current road conditions of I-65
but the BYpass will be about double the miles of driving thru Louisville on I-65
nothing i ever driven was as bad as i-40 thru Az, that was the most beat up piece of HW i have ever driven, it just beat us to death when we crossed it in 2012
don't know what its condition is now, but i sure hope they repaved the whole damm thing
