Low Tire Pressure
Could someone tell me if there are safety problems or dangers going a short distance with a low tire pressure on one of the rears?

Ask the tire shop if they have a portable air tank you can borrow to air up the tire. They may require a deposit until it's returned. Having your own portable compressor can also be a worthwhile investment. There are several quality 12-volt compressors that are very reasonably priced. They're slow, but they get the job done.
