That is the DW's job. She turns off fridge when we pull into a gas station. Turns it back on when we pull out.
I am quite impressed how efficient and effective the fridge operates on propane with 12V supporting the electronics. It uses so little propane yet does a great job in maintaining the cold temp inside.
