Thanks for comments. I did get some special tape sealer at hardware store It appears to be working but I will probably need the hose replaced soon. The slice in the hose is quite large relative to the size of the hose and is situated in a bad location. Nbking, I live in Ottawa as well. Would be interested as to who replaced your hose. Does your unit have a macerator? I haven't been able to squeeze under the RV quite yet especially when I was leaking sewerage. Again, I appreciate the suggestions from everybody.
