I have been using a FloJet for last couple of years and like it. I only use it when returning home to empty and flush. My cleanout is about 30 ft from the motorhome so I use the recommended 3/4 inch hose. Bought mine at Tractor Supply. For power I use a heavy duty set of jumper cables, my house batteries are on the opposite side of my water compartment, toss them under the bus and hookup each end. Have not had any clog or overheating issues with this unit.
Thanks for commenting. I've been thinking of doing the flojet and was wondering how to pull the 12v power from the other side. That might be the best solution - i'd only use it when at home.
