Appreciate all the responses. As stated, the macerator won't be used except in the barn....I prefer the slinky for good flushing.
Thanks for the info on temp power. Running the power to the battery bay seems to make the most sense as I doubt the pump will be used more than 2-3 times a year if that.
It looks like any decent hose would work for the discharge...correct??
I did look at the converted disposal but didn't see any advantage cost wise and a lot of trouble making the conversion. I'll stick with the commercial units and go plug and play. Ebay had some pumps for ~$90.00. That plus a hose should be about it unless I'm missing something.
