Several years ago we changed from a 30 ft fiver to a Jayco Melbourne 32 ft.
Then a year later we went on a 3 month trip to and from Alaska without towing a car along.
As to parking, we generally found it not to be an issue but for not always easy. If you don't mind walking, it is generally not a issue.
One issue was navigating some parking lots especially if it is not a level entrance. Most Class C's have low back end clearance, when compared to trailers and Class A's. Generally the length of the overhang from the axle is a major factor of clearaence. Our receiver saved us a couple of times.
Over all storage space can be an issue. We carried 3 seasons worth of clothing and did not have any real issues. We did make more visits for food than we do at home.
We have 2 slides and that made life in the coach much better. For one person, it is probably easier but the dining table and bench gets old quickly and having a couch or chair (not your front seats) makes it much more livable.
The shorter the coach the less storage available (under storage is limited for all Class C's & is much less than A's or trailers). Comfort space is more restricted the shorter you get.
