Maybe some people are happy long term living in a smallish RV, or any RV for that matter. My wife and I and two dogs lived in our 2004 27 foot class C in our driveway for a number of months while our home was being renovated. This was in Socal heat of summer running the AC full time every day. We both got so tired of being in the motorhome that we didn't want to go back in it for many months afterward. Had to replace the roof AC unit and fridge, fridge was not completely level. Be aware that RV's are like cabin cruiser boats, they need maintenance by you and at times costly professional repair/replacements and there are DMV ,insurance and RV park costs. You won't always be able to park for free or may not feel safe parking with some who are unemployed and "living on the cheap".
