MAXX Air Covers

Hi everybody, our new motorhome is equipped with 2 Fantastic Fans (without the rain sensors) and 1 standard bathroom fan. The manual advises against Air Covers because they will restrict air flow and increase the amount of noise. We would like to install them anyway to provide some ventilation when the coach is stored and during rains. Has anyone used Air Covers for powered fans and have they worked out for you? Appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you.

  • The manual is just following the standard CYA procedures that all companies use to protect themselves.

There are millions of RV running around out there with multiple vent covers on each one of them with no problems and many benefits.
  • OOPs I see you've already answered this in your reply. Sorry and thank you very much for the info,
  • After reading your post I looked and found three different MaxxAir covers. The standard is the smaller one and from there I see the MaxxAir 850 rain cover for high powered fans and the MaxxAir II larger vent vent cover. I'll do a little more research before I buy. Do you remember if you used one of these?
  • Have covers on all vents. The small ones on regular vents and bath room, larger on power vent.Easy to install. Do not have to worry about some one leaving a vent open when raining.
  • There are 2 different types of Maxx covers. We had the Maxx air 2 installed that allows more air flow. Plus it is hinged for easy clean out.
