This is getting hilarious: Just in the last few posts you get....
"ONLY problem with the Sprinter drive train in our RV has been with the turbo resonator (a known defective design) ".....
"And I might add I have probably met more Sprinter Class B owners than the average participant here (three rallies just this spring) and not one has ever reported a diesel fuel problem."
Now click here and look at 245,000 Sprinter EGR Problem search results.

Same site ....I know how you feel I have a fleet of 20 Sprinters, keep them maintained and seem to still have constant problems with them. Right now I have one being fixed in Baltimore and had to ship the part myself from a dealership in Dallas.
I am currently getting all my paperwork in order to meet with the lawyer. Do not buy one of these vans you will be sorry. The Dodge dealership network does not recognize them as a Dodge, nor Mercedes as a Mercedes and Freightliner all but stopped even admitting that they exist.
Hi we are running 70 Sprinters. We have had the following issues.
Leaking Trans seals 10
Broken Crankshaft Pulley 6
Broken Tensioner 5
Wiring harness fractures 5
ECM Failures 2
Alignment problems 20+
Turbo Resonators 4
I think for a premium priced products the German engineering has some serious QC issues. Lots of repeat problems.
However they are still better than the previous GM products we were running. I just wasn't expecting the kind of issues we have been having with a Mercedes product. If they don't get the 2007 sorted they are going to have serious problems in the market.
Our company has about 70 vehicles of which 3 are Sprinters. All of the Sprinters have had problems with electrical and turbo chargers.
2008 Dodge Sprinter with 32,000 miles. At 2,800 miles replaced the computer also had the light on the dash for a bulb out no bulbs out. A recall for emissions, check engine light too many times to count. loss of turbo several times but restarting the van seems to solve that. Something that feels like a hard 1st to 2nd shift. Coolant temp light and check engine light again replaced sensors for EGR and Coolant temp. Current problem ac heat fan motor works some days and not some days can't get dealer to replace it. replaced ign switch. I am sure this is not everything but most of it. Van was down 2 weeks once waiting on parts. This is my only work truck. Service is about a 3 hour drive. All service has been done by Dodge Sprinter dealers.
