It is quite strange actually...It has power and turntable rotates but it doesn't cook. Get to the campground, plug in, and it works fine. I can't imagine that a 4500 watt gen won't run a microwave.Has anyone else run into this?

Have you checked the circuit breakers on the generator itself? These will be right near the generator start switch on the lower portion of the generator.

Maybe one of the breakers on the genny tripped. Most have 2 breaker switches on the side of the generator.

You need to get a Voltage reading on Genset. From your description, the Genset voltage may be too low. Just enough to power the turntable and panel, nut not enough to power the heating supply. Doug

He stated that the turn table is working so he has power to the unit. Sounds like frequency and voltage issue or ground from the gen to switch.
