Microwave venting inside MH

So it seems a lot of the MHs and perhaps TTs Microwaves vent inside the MH while my old TT vented outside. Not happy with that because it means the cabinet above microwave take the brunt of the heat and grease. So I'm wondering what folks do to help stem the effects on their cabinets. Is there something like a film or something that can make it easier to wipe it down and keep it from eventually ruining the cabinet. Any advice would be appreciated. Thxs

  • I've had 3 travel trailers in the last 15 years and all had non-outside vented microwaves, just like in the house. None cause any damage or affect on the cabinets. I've had a dozen different microwaves in the house over the years. None vented outside, all sat on the kitchen counter, usually in a corner. None ever hurt the wood work, cabinets, or counter tops. I've never heard of grease escaping to the outside of a microwave.
