Those are all nice changes. I ended up with a 2017 35.2, picked it up yesterday, Ill try not to think about "what could have been" with the 2018 changes.
Planning a quick weekend local trip to test everything out and then first voyage to Florida for a "working spring break" in late April. Pretty excited thus far and looking forward to really giving her a workout.
The 35.2 DID end up having a 2nd TV in the front, just behind the Dinette (in addition to the one behind the sofa).
Compared to the 2008 Tech/systems on our Gulfstream Super C, the new "stuff" is a welcome change. In addition, the accessibility of everything is GREAT, with a couple exceptions.
Main engine Oil filler neck, its pretty high up and not much room to add in oil. May have to get a little pump for oil changes. With slides in, its a little tight, but can open fridge, and move through coach very well. Only thing not accessible is the lower storage units in front of bed. This may not be a problem with the new bed design in the 2018 (tilt-a-view).
Overall..VERY happy with the floorplan. I have read and been told the being happy with a floorplan is priority #1, then determine chassis it will be on. Will have to get more time/miles in her to determine if the FORD F53 makes us happy. Coming from a Chevrolet Kodiak based Super C, its a little more forgiving already (less jarring).
We kept going back and forth on the 35.2 vs 35.3. I really like the openness of the 35.2 but we ended up deciding on the 35.3. They had a 2017 35.3 on the lot but it didn't have the color options we wanted. I figured if we were going to spend that much money we should get exactly the options we wanted so that's why we ordered a 2018. The wife was not happy about losing the gas stove but I think she is intrigued by the induction stove. She has already bought a bunch of pots and pans. We won't get the motorhome until early May.
How does the 35.2 ride? I have never had a Class A as we have always pulled trailers. I have rented a couple of Class C's in the past and was never happy with the ride.
