"Modified" Paint?

My DH & I are waiting for spring by looking at Class A ads. We keep telling ourselves that we really don't want a different one but... the lure of a DP is becoming harder to resist.

Occasionally we run across a description in an ad that says "modified" paint. Most times it seems to be on those described as full body paint.

We're unclear as to what that means. Was paint scraped off at some point and it needed a touch up? Was it a design the owner wanted that made it different from the regular pattern?
