fuse "Stripped chassis and modified vehicle."

I am tapping into a fuse to get power for the front camera. I want to use a fuse that is not critical. What "Stripped chassis and modified vehicle run/start relay coil" fuse in Ford E350? Here is the diagram. It is # 52 "Stripped chassis and modified vehicle run/start relay coil". Thanks

  • I would think any fuse that energizes when you turn the key on would work fine. I piggyback on fuse that runs the radio.
  • Now while I have a Chevy Chassis after looking for much the same thing I settled on the passenger compartment fuse box, mainly for a shorter and easier wire run,I found a few that were hot and not used (spare)

I see that you have a few of them in your passenger compartment fuse box.

    Just a thought.
  • Pull the fuse and see if anything doesn’t work?
Will tell you if it’s used or not
  • I would think that a "run/start relay coil" is somewhat critical. Don't know exactly what it does, but it sounds like if it blew the rig might not start or run. I would suggest using a circuit like the trailer battery charge. It should be hot only with power on (which I assume you want), and if for some reason the fuse blew it would not affect anything critical.
  • Do you have any suggestion? I checked and the ones not used have no power.

Why don't you grab one that says "not used" and put a fuse in that slot?
