Monaco's customers support is still one of the best... even with a new owner. I'm at 11 years with my Dynasty and plan on keeping it for another 11+. If I had to replace... it would be another Dynasty or Executive in the 04-07 years.

Monaco had windshield issues up to 2009 when they changed the windshield design. My 2008 Camelot has the 90* curves at the corners but the 2009's have a more flat design. My windshield cracked at the corners the first year and was replaced at the factory along with the upper front cap bracing called a Halo Kit. Been 7 years with no windshield issues. I'd buy another Monaco product again without hesitation but it would have to be a Camelot or higher model.

I have an 06 Camelot 40 PDQ. I bought the coach in December of 2010 with 34k miles on it. I now have over 65k on it and it has never left me stranded. I have had to replace certain items such as both HPs, tires, and general wear items but the coach is still in great shape. I even still have the factory slide seals on it. I recently did some major upgrades to it by adding the residential fridge and a dishwasher. I would buy it again. Been a great coach!

Save your time and breath and don't even call the company that sold the cheap china junk to Monaco. It had NO warranty, as anything that was wrong was either the installer or owners fault. Been there and that is the answer.

We bought a used 2007 40PDQ Endeavor in August of '07. Sold it in October of '15. The chassis, Cummins and Allison were flawless. Not on penny on repairs. The coach side of the unit did have some issues with fit and finish. Had a couple of bolts shear on the big slide. Had some leaks around door and windshield. Slide seals were really sub standard. No major system failures. Sound system and KVH sat system were junk. Did I make a bad decision purchasing it? No, it fit our budget and served our needs.

However, our current 2016 Winnebago 40R is light years ahead of the ol' Endeavor in fit and finish. The FL Maxum is a dream to drive even at 70+ mph.

Becker, we loved our 2008 Monaco Dynasty too. I noticed that the Tiffin Zephyr is a very close comparison to the Dynasty with amenities and floor-plan along with the line of American Coaches.

We have an 08 Dynasty..... very happy. Has 10 air bags with tag axle which makes for a super ride.... no real problems. Every year we go to the camper show and look and compare the new models. When we get home and compare with our 08 model we are doubly satisfied with the one we have. Would buy a new one in a heartbeat if it was just like the one we have.....

My list of good rigs would include Foretravel, Beaver, and The upper end Monacos. The 4 bag ones have had problems and I am partial to air levelling for use in Florida.

My Monaco has been very good to me. Just minor problems. It is beginning to take on some age now. This time around I am going to give Tiffin and Newmar close looks. At the same time I would not turn down the right Monaco.

Just a note about that driveshaft. The Monaco and Freightliner manuals state that the driveshaft needs to be greased every 5000 miles. By 11,000 miles YOU should have greased the driveshaft two times. Don't blame the manufacture for this one.
