I have a 2011 Navistar built Holiday Rambler Endeavor (sister ship to the Diplomat) and it has a 425 HP Cummins - 2011 was the last year for Navistar built coach with Cummins. For 2012 they switched over to Navistar engines and did have some issues with them due to the large amount of EGR required to meet NOx emissions w/o using DEF.
My 2011 coach is now in it's 5th season of use and has been the best of 3 HR/Monaco coaches I have owned (2004, and 2008 before this one). The 10 air bag chassis on my coach (43 foot bath and a half with full wall slide) is a gem for ride and handling. Except for an infant failure on the hydraulic pump for the slides/jacks which they recalled and fixed, I have had no issues that you could blame on it being a Monaco/HR and actually have had few issues overall.
