Can someone who has set up a Montana LLC recommend a law firm that they would recommend? Thanks.

That turned out to be a mistake!
That mistake, it is true, cost him a lot of money.
Which, of course, is why I keep saying:
KNOW the laws in YOUR state!
COMPLY with the laws!
DOCUMENT your compliance with the laws.
If that means that you can NEVER bring your RV home, so be it, DON'T DO THAT!
Please note that it is perfectly legal for a California resident (or a resident of any other state) to own a Limited Liability Company in ANY state. However, one MUST be in total compliance with the laws of your state at all times! In fact, those with extensive investment portfolios may be part owners of LLCs from all over the country! One really shouldn't brand ALL ownership of LLCs as illegal!
