Motor Home covers

In my thinking, it only makes sense to cover a $100K investment when necessary or possible. However, the sales and maintenance people where I purchased my coach do not recommend using a cover. Even my owners manual from Winnebago, who have been in business a long time, say don't use a cover.

Can I get some recommendations from those of you who have experience with covers.

    I'd cover it, just not this way :W But that does look like a nice fitting cover that wouldn't blow in the wind to bad. It looks nice and tight but it will still move and streak the paint IMO.
    There are other ways to cover though :B

    They didn't say they wouldn't sell you one, they just recommend not using it.

    I use a cover on our 96 Southwind. It gets covered for the winter.

    We get a lot of winter wind. I've never had any problems from the cover rubbing or flapping in the wind.

    I would not cover it in a milder climate if it was being used every month.

    Sure. Just search the Class A section for `rv cover'. We cover our TT and have for years primarily because we park under a maple tree that drops a lot of wet leaves that leave? a permanent stain.

    They are not used in Minnesota and we have snow - the storage place I have has 300 outside spots and not one person has a cover - as msmith1199 stated rubbing leaving marks etc.

    I have one, and I don't use it. There are issues with it rubbing in the wind and leaving marks. They are also a royal pain in the rear to get off and on. Now if I lived someplace where it snowed and I was putting the motorhome away for the winter and didn't have indoor storage, I may use one. But in California we don't put our motorhomes away for the winter and taking the cover off and on was a pain. I found myself not taking the motorhome out for a weekend because I knew how much of a production it was to get the cover off and on.

    But on another note, leaving the motorhome out in the weather it's entire life isn't good for it either.
