Personally I don't mind people who are afraid to cross full-hookups campground gates.
Thanks to them I can have full privacy in the most beautiful places on this continent and low to no price to follow.

if you are concerned about getting "unstuck" take a few pieces of cardboard or old carpet to put under the wheels if you get stuck. You should be able to drive right out. Another option is to let out a bunch of air , but you better have a compressor to air up before driving on the pavement.

Yep, I'm a scaredy cat.........yep, I drive on freeways, and yep, I drive over bridges.............mainly, because it's a better way to go, then cutting across someones open fields, I don't have a lot of choice. When it comes to driving my motor home on the beach, I have a choice and like I said, with what I've seen and heard, I'll make the choice not to camp on the beach.
It's not only getting stuck, but I talked to a gentleman a few years ago, that had a class C, had camped many times on the beach, one night, a rogue/sleeper wave hit and flooded his motor home. I've also talked to people that did it once and said they'd never get the sand out of everything. These and other stories aided in me making my decision.
If anyone wants to camp on the beach, enjoy, just be careful. I'll wave at you from my car or as I walk by.

Beach camp

This is the location of my 2nd picture. You can zoom out to place the location.
The owner wanted $10 a night, but planning to spend few days there and being the only customer for weekdays I bargained it to $2 a day.
Beach camping is lot of fun, but beside getting stuck consider what salt can do to your coach. My Prevost has stainless steel exterior, but interior is still black steel and I had it washed well coming home.
Best part turned out marble floors I put inside. We had water pan outside and after getting our feet washed, walk inside barefoot.
Some sand that still got inside was easy to sweep down as my door has no threshold.
I consider getting stuck part of the fun. I love challenges and when I dig my drive wheels down to the axles, I used manual valves on air suspension to lift the coach, put blocks under the frame, deflate suspension, jack up the axle and shovel sand under.
Sure heavy workout in 90F weather, so I skip the gym for a week ;)

We have stuck ours twice and it just takes time to get them out. Have not got one stuck since around 1985. These were gas rigs not DP's. Older and wiser now plus all the kids have left home.

Plenty of motor homes on Sandy Neck in Sandwich/Barnstable, Nauset Spit in Orleans and Race Point out by Provincetown.
