More and more cities are limiting RV parking on personal property. Belonging to a chapter of Good Sam or other RV organization and showing up, in uniform at a City Hall hearing has proven effective many times, but not always. Always be sure you have a good spokesman at every City Council meeting when parking rights are being discussed. Many cities across the country have adopted policies that keep parked RVs off the street but they are allowed to park behind closed gates, in RV garages or well off public roads.
