The OP is not asking about new coaches at all. The question was whether to buy a "newer used one that is 1 or 2 years old or one 4 or 5 years old?"
He already knows that used is what he is looking for.
I think the higher the quality of the coach when new will determine how old a coach you can buy. There will be a huge difference between a entry level coach and a high end coach when you get out 5-10 years as you are suggesting.
