Mountail High Coachworks

Just sold our class C and now looking for a diesel Class A. I found a Mountain High Summit- 40' with 330 ISC with only 30,000 miles for what seems to be a very reasonable price. I was looking at Newmar, Tiffin and Country Coach and found this to be very nice coach. I have not heard of them and was hoping someone can share their thoughts on this brand. For example, can you still find parts and information as necessary? Any issues with the coach beyond the normal?
Appreciate any information you can provide.
  • I've had one just like it for 9 years. Love it. Been a great coach. By 2001, they were called MHC right before they were called chapter 7. We also remodeled. Great coach at a great price.
  • Yep, that's the one. Sounds like there is not much out there regarding history about the brand.
  • My friends bought this model at Landcaster Ca. His story was it was 1 of the 2 DP's made before going out of business. Has this MH been painted?

  • A friend of mine had one I think it was 1999 and he had trouble with the leveler brackets breaking. Sounds like a nice coach at a nice price!
  • Mountain High Coachworks was connected to Thor West. They ceased operation after the 2001 model year.
Google Mountain High Coach works go the the NADA section.
