Mounting 32" LCD TV
I removed a few years back the 27" tube TV that came with our RV and boarded over the opening and mounted a 32" TV to it. Needless to say a handful of trips leaving it up there on the overhead caused...

When I replaced our 27" with a 32" led, I used the base that came with the TV for it to sit on. I had to cut the front edge off, then drilled tow holes in the back part for mounting screws. A couple of straps across the back to steady it, and it has ridden there for about 5 years with no problem. Back then, tvs only had a single mount in the center, many now have legs on each side, which might create other problems. However, if you can get the weight on the installed legs, it will be a lot better.
